A Military and History Fair takes place annually at Fort Schanskop on the Voortrekker Monument Heritage Site. The fair usually takes place on the first weekend in June to commemorate the annexation of the Fort by British forces on 4 June 1900.

Visitors may come and look at military vehicles, planes and exhibitions. Living exhibitions and demonstrations take place and militaria is for sale. Classic Arms present a weapon auction on the Saturday.
